This is a human problem. And all of the studies that have been done recently that we’ve heard about that are specifically aimed towards the sciences are instructive because they help to inform us and our colleagues that this is a human problem. Women, men, people of color will take CVs for men and women and judge them differently. They will judge differently applicants for a job. And so, together as humans, we need to address this result of human evolution and try to find workarounds.
