I was struck by the fact that we haven’t discussed at all NIH grants, the government, the choice of budgetary items with respect to science and science education. It’s… in fact I asked whether it’s been a forgotten topic. But I think that it’s something that is all over our institutions and it colors our activities as educators as well with respect to the competition with research and the like.
